Writers Retreat Created Three New Books

The Biz Book Breakthrough Writers Retreat held on October 25-28, 2007 in the beautiful resort area of Guerneville, California in Sonoma County created three new book titles: “Persuasive Speaking Now,” “Freedom to Live,” and “Men Who Roar!”

These are three unique books: The readers will learn 1) how to speak dynamically and persuasively and sell their books and products, 2) discover personal stories to inner peace and having loving relationships in your life, and 3) discover the personal traits of the men behind successful women who have happy, loving relationships. It was a grand, long, intensive weekend and the authors went away with a plan and know what they are doing next. Successful writing begins with a plan. What a grand place to write in Russian River amidst the Giant Redwood trees and the peace and tranquility of this beautiful country.

Surrounding yourself with quietness and beautiful grounds is a wonderful way to finish your manuscript. I recommend it to my clients all the time. So if you are ready to finish your draft travel to some delightful place where you can stay for 2-4 days and finish your manuscript once and for all. We stayed at 5 Seasons Resort & Spa formerly called River Village Resort in Guerneville, California. A nice relaxing environment where we got great ideas sharing with each other and this moved our book ideas along. Our next retreat will be in May, 2008. I am looking forward to seeing the three books we worked on at the retreat get published and distributed, and discovering the new book ideas that will come from the new retreat in May 2008.

Writing and publishing a book for your business gives you an awesome feeling and lets your clients know that you are an Expert. “Isn’t that cool?” That’s what my guest speaker, Arvee Robinson, would say.

To your book success,

I love inline skating. Years ago I entered the Los Angeles Marathon that held the first Inline Skating Event with 2000 other skaters. Taking on a challenge like this (that is totally out of my low-key character) helps me grow and face my fears head on. Change is definitely good. In fact I’ve spent thousands of hours over the years studying, attending workshops, and writing about success-oriented topics, as it is SO IMPORTANT to our personal growth and success.
